Deepots™

Deepots systems have been renamed. The D20 trays (formerly D40 trays) and the D50 tray (formerly D16 trays) both denote the number of cells per tray. Deepots are used for a wide range of hardwood and other tree seedlings and are available in seven sizes. All are an excellent choice for plant material requiring a deeper root ball. They also allow seedlings to be spread out or consolidated for sorting and maximizing growing density.

Improved Design

The bottom of each cell has five drainage holes.
Each cell has eight vertical ribs to train roots downward.
Outside stacking lugs prevent cells from sticking together.


Recycled D40 and D16 Cells are manufactured of post industry, pre-consumer recycled polypropylene resin. Color may vary.

Support Trays and Collars for D20 Large Deepots
Support Trays allow easier cell consolidation for full utilization of growing space.

The Nova-25 Tray (N25T) is an economical support tray which utilizes 3/4" PVC pipe as legs. This allows the user to determine the height of the tray. With legs removed, the trays nestle for very economical and compact shipping and storage. PVC pipe is not included.

Tray Covers

The covers shown below fit over trays filled with cells prior to filling with soil. They prevent soil from working its way into the spaces between individual cells.

Stainless steel is very durable and rust resistant with the highest longevity. It functions the same as our plastic version but with much greater longevity.

The Boltron Plastic reusable plastic cover is an economical alternative to the stainless steel cover while providing the same great features.

Plastic is the most economical option for a tray cover.
